Reverse modeling: from the point cloud to the 3D model BIM (Building Information Modeling) that is a 3D model which can be interrogated: it contains metrics and material information. From the BIM model you can extract 2D CAD drwings (plans, sections and elevations) and make renderings.
Interactive Virtual tour available on-line (in WebGL and Flash) on any device (PC, tablet and smartphone), realized by merging panoramic images at high resolution.
3D historical reconstruction of the original building. Realization of photorealistic renderings of the old prison overlapped with the virtual tour of the current state, for an immediate comparison of the two chronological phases.
Fruition of the virtual tour in touch-less mode through simple hand gestures thanks to the Leap Motion Controller tecnology.
Fruition of plans and additional contents (images, details, video) in touch-less mode with simple hand gestures thanks to the Kinect tecnology.
